SPORTS MASSAGE

Weekend Warriors and Elite Athletes
Sports Massage is a type of massage designed for highly active people who engage in athletics. Engaging in sports is harsh on the body and can often lead to injuries in both the short and long term. Sports Massage enhances performance and prolongs a sports career by helping to prevent injury, reduce pains and swelling in the body, relax the mind, increase flexibility, and dramatically improve recovery rates. Sports Massage is also highly effective in aiding the rapid recovery of an athlete from an injury by encouraging greater kinesthetic awareness and in turn promoting the body’s natural immune function.
THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE FOR MUSICIANS

Singers and Instrumentalists
Professional and aspiring musicians are athletes of their own kind. They practice often and prepare extensively for performances, exerting a physical toll on their bodies. Pain and repetitive stress injuries are common. Since musicians lack the built-in support system that sports athletes have (coaches, trainers, medical staff), most are on their own when it comes to caring for their primary instrument – their bodies. This, and the stigma of injury, keeps many musicians from dealing with the problem until they are physically unable to play. Musculoskeletal pain in musicians results from a combination of poor body mechanics, lack of stretching, muscle overuse, repetitive movement, or reactivation of old injuries.
SEATED CHAIR MASSAGE

In the office or on the road
Seated chair massage is often seen in an office or clinical setting. Sometimes referred to as office massage, seated massage can help reduce stress and anxiety associated with some office jobs. It can help to increase morale, increase productivity, decrease absenteeism, and motivate employees. It also shows employees that the company cares about their health and overall well-being. Seated chair massage is one of the best ways to relax in the middle of a work day, after a long airplane trip, after shopping at the mall, or pretty much any other time, so unwind and relax in a massage therapist's chair today.
PRENATAL AND POSTPARTUM MASSAGE

For Every Mom-to-be
Prenatal massage is therapeutic bodywork that focuses on the special needs of the mother-to-be as her body goes through the dramatic changes of pregnancy. It enhances the function of muscles and joints, improves circulation and general body tone, and relieves mental and physical fatigue. It is a joy and a unique privilege to do this work with an expectant mother. At one of my early places of employment, I was affectionately known as the "baby whisperer". I hold that honor firmly in my heart.
RELAXATION AND
REJUVENATION MASSAGE

Relief from Daily Stress
A relaxation massage helps de-stress and loosen up your body and is great for those who have had a hard working week or feel like treating themselves to some TLC! The treatment consists of flowing strokes, kneading and gentle manipulations of the muscles performed at your chosen pressure. It is a pain-free way to relax both your muscles and your mind. Enjoy!
LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE MASSAGE
The benefits of lymphatic drainage massage range from highly therapeutic work, such as injury recovery and assisting in the reduction of severe lymphedema, to more aesthetic work, such as reducing puffiness in the skin and reducing the appearance of wrinkles. It is a calming therapy because it uses gentle, rhythmic strokes to encourage lymph flow throughout the body. It is one of the most highly researched types of massage, and it is a vital part of maintaining a strong immune system.
